The Pentagon says that Star Wars will be the largest industrial project in the history of the planet Earth. The aerospace industry intends to cut health care, education, social security, and the like in order to pay for a new arms race in space.
Now is the time that we must organize a global call to resist the nuclearization and weaponization of space. We must make space for peace.
We must also call for conversion of the military industrial complex. Let's demand that our hard earned tax dollars be used to build public mass transit, solar power and wind technologies instead of endless war.
